Job Description:
American Pacific Corporation is seeking to employ a FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER or CHEMICAL ENGINEER with fire protection experience to work in our Halotron division. This candidate would participate in and ultimately manage technical designs and commercialization programs for fire protection products, principally clean agents, participate in field and laboratory fire testing, develop technical and other manuals, participate in industry trade associations and exhibitions, and interface with potential and existing customers. Travel of 5-6 weeks per year is expected. Minimum experience is 3 yrs. The position is to be located at the AMPAC Las Vegas office.
